Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare and post journal entries, payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, and credit notes.
• Assist in maintaining the General Ledger (GL) and supporting schedules.
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
• Verify supplier invoices and customer payments before processing.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with petty cash management and expense tracking.

Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile customer, supplier, and ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial schedules and management reports.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies promptly.
• Generate reports using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Compliance & Administration

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Assist in preparing VAT-related documentation where required.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes and documentation.

Team Support

• Coordinate with finance, procurement, HR, and operations teams regarding financial transactions.
• Assist senior accountants with financial analysis and reporting.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support finance projects assigned by management.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as required.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience in Dubai, UAE.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of accounting software is a plus).
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong willingness to learn, develop, and grow professionally.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to accuracy and teamwork.
