Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in Tally.
• Prepare and post journal entries, payment vouchers, and receipts.
• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Process supplier invoices and customer payments.
• Maintain accurate General Ledger (GL) records.
• Verify accounting documents before processing transactions.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up when required.

Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile supplier, customer, and ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting schedules and supporting documentation.
• Identify discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting issues.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
• Ensure proper documentation of accounting transactions.
• Assist in preparing records required for internal and external audits.
• Support compliance with accounting standards and company procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.
• Assist with VAT documentation when required.

Administrative Support

• Prepare financial reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices and payments.
• Assist senior accountants with budgeting and financial analysis.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.
• Contribute to improving accounting processes and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 – Maximum 4 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Professional attitude with integrity and confidentiality.
• Experience with VAT and financial reporting is an added advantage.
