Key Responsibilities

Management Information Systems (MIS)

• Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports with clearly defined data sources, ownership, and reporting timelines.
• Develop and maintain management dashboards for business performance monitoring.
• Prepare segment-wise Profit & Loss reports with accurate direct and indirect cost allocations.
• Maintain a live trading-report tracker to monitor operational and financial performance.
• Design and manage promoter and executive dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure timely availability of management information across all business units.

Planning & Financial Analysis

• Prepare annual budgets and rolling 12-month financial forecasts.
• Conduct budget-versus-actual analysis and provide detailed variance commentary.
• Develop financial models to support planning, forecasting, and investment decisions.
• Create and maintain cost-allocation frameworks and unit economics models.
• Analyze profitability across products, customers, business units, and market segments.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
• Support management with scenario analysis and business planning initiatives.

Standards & Data Quality Management

• Develop KPI definitions, reporting standards, scorecards, and financial templates.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of management reports across departments.
• Monitor data quality and drive resolution of source-data errors.
• Establish reporting controls and validation processes to improve reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve financial data collection and reporting processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in financial reporting and analytics.

Candidate Profile

• CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven experience in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience managing financial reporting across multiple entities and business segments.
• Strong understanding of management reporting, profitability analysis, and performance measurement.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling and data analysis.
• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools is an advantage.
• Exposure to trading, commodities, distribution, or related industries is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
