Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Assist in maintaining accurate day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
• Record journal entries, invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and credit notes.
• Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Verify supplier invoices and customer payments before processing.
• Maintain General Ledger (GL) entries and supporting documentation.
• Assist with petty cash management and expense tracking.
• Ensure proper filing and organization of financial documents.

Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve account discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare schedules for management reporting.
• Reconcile customer, supplier, and ledger accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records for audit purposes.

Administrative Support

• Coordinate with procurement, stores, production, and HR departments regarding financial documentation.
• Assist in preparing reports using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Respond to finance-related queries from internal departments.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

What We Look For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or Junior Accountant.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong numerical ability with excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Factory experience will be given preference.
