Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions and maintain accurate records in the ERP system.
• Prepare, verify, and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Monitor collections and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding payment schedules and overdue accounts.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies promptly.
• Perform supplier account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Record and allocate incoming payments accurately within the accounting system.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding billing, invoicing, and payment processing.
• Process vendor payments and ensure timely settlement of obligations.
• Handle bank transactions, cheque deposits, cheque collections, and Post-Dated Cheques (PDCs).
• Monitor cash flow activities and maintain proper transaction documentation.
• Support tax compliance requirements and finance department operations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly collection reports, aging reports, and penalty reports.
• Maintain organized accounting files, invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Experience as an Accountant in a medical company, healthcare organization, clinic, or hospital is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable, collections, and accounting procedures.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
