Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Manage day-to-day accounting processes and financial transactions.
• Record journal entries, invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and credit notes accurately.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger (GL).
• Process supplier payments and customer receipts on time.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all accounting records.
• Maintain accurate financial data using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Generate Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Reports.
• Prepare management reports and MIS reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve account discrepancies.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Analyze financial data and recommend process improvements.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, UAE regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with VAT documentation and statutory reporting where applicable.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required financial records.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Strengthen accounting controls and improve financial processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Administrative Support

• Coordinate with procurement, HR, operations, and management regarding financial matters.
• Respond to finance-related inquiries professionally.
• Prepare schedules and reports for management review.
• Perform additional accounting duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Commerce Graduate with CA Inter qualification.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE compliance requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and MIS Reporting.
• Experience using accounting software or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
