Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping activities.
• Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and invoices.
• Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and ensure records are up to date.
• Verify supporting documents before processing transactions.
• Maintain organized financial files and documentation.

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) by processing supplier invoices and payments.
• Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and follow up on outstanding customer balances.
• Prepare payment schedules and customer statements.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices and collections.
• Resolve payment discrepancies with suppliers and customers.
• Maintain accurate records of all receivable and payable transactions.

Bank Reconciliation & Financial Reporting

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Perform reconciliations of various financial accounts.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and closing activities.
• Prepare financial summaries, reports, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain accurate accounting records for audits and compliance.
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities when required.

Administrative & Finance Support

• Assist the finance team with routine accounting tasks.
• Coordinate with procurement, operations, warehouse, and management departments.
• Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and financial policies.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Perform additional finance-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial company.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
