Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping activities.
• Record journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and invoices accurately.
• Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and subsidiary ledgers.
• Ensure all accounting records are complete, organized, and up to date.
• Verify financial documents before processing transactions.
• Maintain proper documentation for all accounting activities.

Accounts Management

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) by processing supplier invoices and payments.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and monitor customer collections.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and supplier balances.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare payment schedules and customer account statements.

Payroll & Financial Reporting

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
• Maintain payroll records and employee salary documentation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Generate management reports and financial summaries.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.

Compliance & Administration

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and UAE financial regulations.
• Prepare documents required for internal and external audits.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and records.
• Coordinate with HR, procurement, operations, and management teams.
• Assist in improving accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Perform additional accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Experience in managing accounts, bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Office, and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Professional attitude with high integrity and confidentiality.
