Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping activities.
• Record journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers accurately.
• Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and subsidiary ledgers.
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
• Maintain organized accounting records for audit purposes.

Financial Management

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor company cash flow and financial performance.
• Support budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
• Analyze financial data and provide management reports.
• Ensure accuracy in financial statements and records.

Reconciliation & Reporting

• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile supplier, customer, and inventory accounts.
• Prepare reconciliation reports and identify discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial reporting schedules.
• Generate management reports using accounting software.
• Assist management with financial analysis and decision-making.

Jewellery Industry Accounting

• Maintain accurate records of jewellery inventory transactions.
• Monitor stock-related accounting entries and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with inventory and sales departments.
• Ensure proper valuation and recording of jewellery inventory.
• Verify purchase and sales transactions accurately.
• Support internal inventory audits and stock verification.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of Jewellery Industry experience (Mandatory).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting and Financial Management.
• Proficiency in Tally, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.
• Excellent Accounts Reconciliation and Financial Reporting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Smart, efficient, and highly detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
