Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Accounts Department in daily accounting activities, including posting journal entries and maintaining general ledgers.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring invoices, receipts, and payments are recorded accurately and processed on time.

• Assist in bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions align with financial statements and records.

• Prepare and maintain expense reports, ensuring proper documentation and approvals are in place.

• Support VAT preparation and filing in accordance with UAE tax regulations.

• Manage petty cash transactions, ensuring accuracy, proper authorization, and timely replenishment.

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports for review by senior accountants.

• Coordinate with internal departments for the collection and verification of financial data.

• Ensure accurate filing and maintenance of accounting documents, both physical and digital.

• Respond to email and phone inquiries related to accounts, vendors, and financial transactions in a professional manner.

• Provide administrative support for audits and internal reviews by compiling necessary financial data and documentation.

• Help maintain updated records of company expenditures, receipts, and reimbursements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience in the UAE (mandatory).

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiar with accounting software such as Tally ERP or QuickBooks.

• Must be available in the UAE and ready to join immediately.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce preferred.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
