Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification of financial entries.
• Record sales, purchases, expenses, and receipts in the accounting system.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) by verifying invoices and processing supplier payments.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, tracking collections, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions match bank statements and discrepancies are resolved.
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all financial records.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and reports.
• Monitor cash flow and expenses, identifying trends and potential risks.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and coordination.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
