Accounts Executive Full Time

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Accounting

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and accounting entries on a daily basis.
• Record financial transactions, receipts, payments, expenses, and other accounting activities.
• Ensure all accounting entries are properly classified and supported by relevant documentation.
• Review financial records regularly to identify errors, missing information, or inconsistencies.
• Maintain organized digital and physical accounting documentation.
• Ensure financial records remain accurate and up to date.
• Support the preparation of accounting schedules and financial summaries.

Bank & PSP Reconciliations

• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Reconcile payment service provider (PSP) transactions with internal accounting records.
• Identify unmatched, missing, or duplicate transactions.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve reconciliation differences.
• Maintain accurate reconciliation schedules and supporting documentation.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing financial transactions.
• Ensure reconciliation activities are completed within required timelines.

Daily Financial Reporting

• Prepare and maintain daily financial reports for management review.
• Compile financial data from accounting systems, bank accounts, and PSP platforms.
• Monitor daily transactions and financial movements.
• Provide accurate summaries of balances, receipts, payments, and other financial activities.
• Highlight unusual transactions, discrepancies, or significant variances.
• Ensure reports are prepared accurately and submitted on time.
• Assist management with financial information when required.

Operations & Compliance Coordination

• Coordinate with Operations and Compliance teams regarding financial transactions and documentation.
• Provide accounting information required for operational and compliance processes.
• Follow up on missing financial documents and transaction details.
• Assist in resolving financial or documentation-related issues.
• Ensure accounting activities are performed according to internal policies and procedures.
• Support compliance-related reviews by maintaining complete and accurate records.
• Escalate unusual or potentially problematic transactions to the appropriate senior team member.

Financial Record Management

• Maintain accurate and complete financial records and supporting documents.
• Organize invoices, receipts, statements, transaction records, and reconciliation reports.
• Ensure documents can be retrieved quickly when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support internal and external audit requirements when necessary.
• Follow proper accounting controls and documentation procedures.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting and reporting processes.
• Support the use of accounting software and financial systems.
• Help improve the efficiency and accuracy of reconciliation procedures.
• Maintain standardized reporting and documentation practices.
• Assist in implementing improved financial controls and workflows.
• Work proactively to resolve recurring accounting issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in Forex/CFD brokerage is preferred.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Good knowledge of bank reconciliation processes.
• Experience with PSP reconciliation is an advantage.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using accounting software and financial systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proactive approach to work and problem-solving.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Operations, Compliance, and Finance teams.
