Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Finance Manager in managing day-to-day financial and accounting operations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance to ensure business objectives are achieved.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial records for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing management reports and financial analysis for decision-making purposes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support VAT, Corporate Tax, and other statutory filing requirements where applicable.
• Coordinate with auditors and assist during internal and external audit processes.
• Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions to improve financial controls.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis reports.
• Assist in developing and implementing finance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Supervise and support junior finance and accounting staff.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.
• Support strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and recommendations.
• Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting, finance, or financial management roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow management.
• Knowledge of taxation, auditing, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
