Key Responsibilities

Cash Handling & Transactions

• Process cash, credit card, debit card, and digital payment transactions accurately.
• Receive customer payments and issue receipts or invoices promptly.
• Count cash at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance daily transactions.
• Handle refunds, exchanges, and cancellations according to company policies.
• Detect and report any cash discrepancies immediately.

Customer Service

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers with billing inquiries and payment-related questions.
• Provide accurate information about products, services, and promotions.
• Resolve customer concerns politely and efficiently.
• Ensure every customer receives excellent service and a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude at all times.

Administrative Duties

• Prepare daily cash reports and transaction summaries.
• Maintain proper records of sales, receipts, and financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing bank deposits as instructed.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Coordinate with the finance department regarding transaction records.
• Ensure all financial documentation is complete and properly filed.

Store & Operational Support

• Support sales staff during busy business hours.
• Assist with basic inventory checks and stock updates when required.
• Keep the cashier counter clean, organized, and presentable.
• Follow company policies regarding cash handling and security procedures.
• Perform additional operational or administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role is an advantage.
• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Basic knowledge of billing systems, POS software, and payment processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
