Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Welcome customers warmly and provide professional assistance at the service counter.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding exchange rates, remittance services, and financial transactions.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude.
• Resolve customer concerns efficiently and escalate complex issues when necessary.

Cash Handling & Financial Transactions

• Process foreign exchange, remittance, and other financial transactions accurately.
• Receive, count, and verify cash before processing transactions.
• Handle cash, cheques, and electronic payments according to company procedures.
• Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions at the end of each shift.
• Detect and report any discrepancies in cash or financial records immediately.
• Ensure compliance with company financial controls and operational procedures.

Documentation & Compliance

• Verify customer identification and transaction documents.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and supporting documentation.
• Follow AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) guidelines where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information and financial records.

Administrative Support

• Update customer and transaction details in the company system.
• Prepare daily transaction reports and reconciliation summaries.
• Maintain organized filing of financial and operational documents.
• Coordinate with supervisors regarding transaction approvals and operational issues.
• Perform additional counter and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within an Exchange House environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of cash handling and financial transaction procedures.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer literacy and proficiency in financial or exchange software.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Honest, reliable, and capable of handling confidential information.
