Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Welcome customers professionally and provide friendly and efficient counter service.

• Maintain a professional and courteous approach during all customer interactions.
• Ensure customers receive accurate and timely service.

Cash Handling & Transactions

• Handle cash and financial transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Receive and count cash carefully before completing transactions.
• Verify transaction details, customer information, and supporting documents.
• Process authorized financial transactions according to company procedures.
• Ensure correct amounts are received, paid, and recorded.
• Maintain accurate counter balances and report discrepancies immediately.
• Follow established cash-handling and security procedures at all times.

Financial & Record Management

• Maintain accurate records of daily counter transactions.
• Prepare and maintain transaction-related documentation.
• Verify receipts, vouchers, and supporting documents for completeness.
• Assist with daily cash reconciliation and transaction balancing.
• Report any discrepancies or unusual transactions to management.
• Ensure all financial records are properly organized and maintained.
• Follow company policies relating to financial controls and documentation.

Exchange House Operations

• Support day-to-day Exchange House counter operations.
• Process customer transactions in accordance with approved procedures.
• Ensure all required documents and identification details are properly checked.
• Follow internal procedures relating to transaction verification and customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information.
• Coordinate with back-office and other departments when required.
• Support smooth workflow during busy periods.

Compliance & Accuracy

• Follow company policies, operational procedures, and applicable financial controls.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ensure transaction records are complete and correctly entered into the relevant system.
• Identify and report unusual discrepancies or errors promptly.
• Protect customer information and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Follow security procedures relating to cash and financial transactions.

Computer & Software Usage

• Use computer systems and financial software to process transactions.
• Enter customer and transaction information accurately.
• Maintain electronic records and generate transaction reports when required.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role in an Exchange House environment.
• Graduate in a relevant field is mandatory.
