Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial accounting and bookkeeping in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, VAT requirements, taxation laws, and local accounting standards.
• Monitor and control ERP accounting systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
• Develop and maintain company financial workflow charts and accounting procedures.
• Prepare audit reports and coordinate the completion of financial audits.
• Prepare company budgets based on cash flow and fund flow analysis.
• Manage petty cash budgeting and ensure accurate monitoring of expenditures.
• Conduct customer visits and follow up on outstanding payments and collections.
• Investigate new customer profiles and evaluate creditworthiness before approving credit terms.
• Oversee inventory management, stock supervision, and monthly physical stock verification.
• Compare physical stock valuation with system stock and balance sheet records.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly financial and operational reports as per company policies.
• Conduct monthly customer balance confirmations and account reconciliations.
• Supervise finance staff performance and provide proper guidance to assistant accountants and finance team members.
• Support strategic financial planning and assist management with decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.
• Perform additional finance management and operational duties assigned by senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA, or CPA is preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• At least 3–5 years of managerial experience in finance leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, taxation, and local accounting standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or trading industries is an advantage.
