We are looking for a Fundraising & Finance Manager – who has a successful record in getting fundraise for DEX and is experienced in setting up the fundamental operation process for the finance team. You will play a crucial role in driving the financial success of the company. You will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as providing strategic financial guidance to the management team.

Responsibility:

1. Fundraising Management:

• Understanding of the existing business (including products/services, customers, competitors, the overall market and trends) through careful research and analysis of all business units
• Understand how major stakeholders are thinking about Palmswap’s direction, generally and in reference to specific initiatives, through interviews with these stakeholders
• Review and refine the company’s sales forecasting model and pitch deck, providing edits or reworking the materials entirely, as needed
• Develop accurate benchmarks to guide in the projections
• Work alongside the executive team to define the pitch used in investor meetings; practice the pitch with the executives and help the management team preempt investor questions
• Pressure test every aspect of Palmswap’s business ahead of fundraising meetings

2. Finance Management:

• To support the company’s growth objectives, develop and manage comprehensive financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Assist the management team with insightful financial analysis and recommendations, allowing for informed decision-making.
• Overseeing the accounting and reporting functions of the company ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders on time and with accuracy.
• Maintain and improve financial policies and procedures in order to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks proactively using effective risk management strategies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost-cutting measures that improve financial performance.
• Contribute financial expertise and support to the company’s growth and expansion plans.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, operations, research, statistics, math, economics, or related analytical discipline preferred
• Financial management experience with planning, forecasting, and business analysis
• Prior experience as an advisor to or executive at a funded startup, or experience in venture capital
• Strong networking with VC, and investors within the relevant domain
• Experience with setup the finance process from zero
• Critical thinker, as well as an extremely organized and detail-oriented problem solver
• Used blockchain technology before
• Team player and self-starter who isn’t afraid to take initiative
