Finance Specialist Full Time

We are looking for a Finance Specialist for our UAE entity where the transactional accounting/finance operations are performed by Danfoss Shared Services. Position is based in UAE however will be supporting other countries (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, South Africa, Kazakhstan) in the cluster.




Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Supervision of accounting/finance processes,
• Manage/support local financial operations, including loan settlements, cash flows, cheque portfolio, leasing transactions and collection activities,
• Communication with external auditors, tax consultants, Free Zone management, other institutions,
• Communicating with customers, tax authorities, and other stakeholders,
• Lead Finance projects in the cluster like SAP implementation, process improvements etc.,
• Support/backup Finance employees in the cluster,
• Ensure proper financial transactions aligned with group accounting standards and local rules/legislations in coordination with Shared Service Center,
• Tax compliance and any local compliance requirements for Finance, administrative topics,
• Internal and external reporting-audits – meet deadlines,
• Provide problem-solving, and business partnering support to internal stakeholders including guidance/training on taxation and compliance,
• Comply with standards, policies and procedures defined.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or relevant area,
• Atleast 5 years Finance/Accounting experience preferably in multinational companies,
• SAP knowledge, SAP implementation experience,
• Having one of the ACCA/ACA/CPA certificates with accounting and analysis background,
• Expert knowledge in Accounting Standards (IFRS / Local GAAP)
• Understanding of local rules regulations,
• Experience with working in an international environment,
• Advanced in English with good communication skills,
• Positive attitude, sense of responsibility,
• Punctuality, accuracy, and reliability,
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office,
• Willingness to learn and increase responsibilities.
