General Accountant Full Time

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled General Accountant with experience in the fit-out or construction industry to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in accounting, VAT compliance, and financial reporting, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports.
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
Handle month-end and year-end closing processes.
Monitor project costs and budget allocations for construction/fit-out projects.
Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies for financial matters.

Requirements:

 Experience: 3-5 years of accounting experience, specifically in the fit-out/construction sector.
 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
 Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or other accounting software.
 Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE VAT, IFRS, and corporate tax regulations.
 Availability: Must be based in Dubai and ready to join immediately.
