Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and reconstruct books of accounts for the past 5 years using available financial data and supporting documents.
• Review and verify all financial records, including ledgers, invoices, tax filings, and customs documentation.
• Perform end-to-end general accounting activities, ensuring accurate recording of all transactions.
• Prepare and finalize accounts up to the Trial Balance (TB) stage.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance in all financial processes and reports.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification of entries.
• Reconcile bank accounts, inventory records, and financial statements regularly.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for management review.
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all accounting activities.
• Support VAT-related processes, ensuring compliance with Dubai VAT regulations.
• Work on inventory accounting, including stock reconciliation and valuation.
• Handle documentation related to customs and trade finance, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data flow.
• Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain financial integrity.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a UAE Freezone environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience in inventory accounting, customs documentation, Dubai VAT, SCM, or trade finance (mandatory).
• Ability to work with speed, accuracy, and minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
