HR Officer jobs in Al Ain are increasingly in demand within the education and academic services sector. GEMS Education is hiring an HR Officer in Al Ain to manage recruitment support, employee relations, payroll coordination, HR compliance, and administrative processes, contributing to efficient human resources operations within a leading education group.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of daily human resources activities.
Handle recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, screening CVs, coordinating interviews, and issuing offer letters.
Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring all documentation and formalities are completed accurately.
Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR databases in compliance with company policies.
Administer attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination, ensuring accurate data submission.
Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law and company HR policies in all HR practices.
Support employee relations, addressing employee queries and fostering a positive work environment.
Assist in implementing performance management systems, including appraisals and performance reviews.
Coordinate training and development programs, identifying training needs and maintaining training records.
Manage HR documentation related to policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Support visa processing, renewals, and employee documentation in coordination with PRO or external agencies.
Handle disciplinary procedures and grievance handling under management guidance.
Prepare and submit HR reports related to recruitment, attendance, turnover, and employee performance.
Coordinate with department heads to support manpower planning and workforce requirements.
Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of employee information at all times.
Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and internal communications.
Monitor compliance with internal HR processes and recommend improvements when required.
Support internal and external HR audits by providing necessary documentation.
Maintain records related to health insurance, benefits, and employee welfare programs.
Use HR systems and MS Office applications for reporting, documentation, and communication.
Perform additional HR and administrative duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an HR Officer or in a similar HR role.
Strong knowledge of UAE Labor Law and HR best practices.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR management systems.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to HR operations.
