HSE Officer Full Time

The HSE Officer position in Abu Dhabi with Control Contracting & Trading Co. is a prime opportunity for professionals experienced in construction safety, occupational health, NEBOSH compliance, and industrial risk management across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce company, client, and regulatory HSE policies and procedures across all offshore operations.

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazard identification, recommending effective mitigation and control measures.

• Monitor offshore worksites to ensure strict HSE compliance, safe work practices, and adherence to permit-to-work systems.

• Lead and participate in HSE inspections, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring accurate reporting and corrective actions.

• Identify unsafe acts and conditions, intervene when necessary, and provide immediate guidance to site personnel.

• Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and HSE awareness sessions to offshore crews.

• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, permits, and compliance documentation.

• Coordinate with operations teams, contractors, and client representatives to address HSE issues proactively.

• Support emergency response planning, drills, and incident preparedness offshore.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience, with at least 2 years in offshore oil & gas operations.

• Strong knowledge of offshore HSE standards, international safety regulations, and industry best practices.

• Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations in offshore environments.

• Familiarity with client and regulatory HSE frameworks applicable to offshore oil and gas projects.
