Key Responsibilities

• Ensure approved software is installed and updated properly.
• Monitor hardware and software performance.
• Coordinate equipment repairs, replacements, and upgrades when required.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets and software licenses.

Technical Support

• Provide timely technical support to employees and users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Respond to IT support requests and provide effective solutions.
• Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications and other business software.
• Escalate complex technical problems to appropriate vendors or specialists.
• Maintain records of IT incidents and resolutions.

User Account & Access Management

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and IT access.
• Create, modify, and disable user accounts according to company procedures.
• Manage Active Directory users, groups, and access permissions.
• Assign appropriate system and network access based on job requirements.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Maintain secure access and authentication practices.

IT Security

• Monitor and maintain IT security systems.
• Support firewall, antivirus, endpoint protection, and security solutions.
• Apply security updates and patches as required.
• Monitor systems for potential security threats.
• Follow company cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Assist with maintaining secure access to company systems and data.

Backup & Recovery

• Implement and monitor backup systems for important business data.
• Verify backup processes and investigate failures.
• Maintain appropriate backup schedules.
• Assist with data recovery procedures when required.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery activities.
• Ensure backup documentation is maintained and updated.

Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for technical support.
• Raise service requests and follow up on unresolved issues.
• Coordinate hardware repairs, software services, and IT solutions.
• Assist with evaluating IT requirements and suitable technical solutions.
• Maintain vendor contacts, service records, and warranties.

IT Inventory & Documentation

• Maintain accurate IT inventory and asset records.
• Track computers, laptops, servers, networking equipment, software, and accessories.
• Maintain documentation for IT systems, configurations, user access, and procedures.
• Conduct periodic IT asset checks.
• Ensure technical documentation remains accurate and organized.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and networking.
• Experience with IT security, firewalls, and backup systems.
• Good understanding of system administration and network troubleshooting.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
