Key Responsibilities
End-User Support & Troubleshooting:
- Technical Assistance: Provide Tier-1 and Tier-2 technical support for hardware (PC/Mac), software applications, and mobile devices across the Head Office and various retail outlets.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve issues related to Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, email configuration, printing, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Remote Support: Utilize remote desktop tools to assist staff in various locations across the UAE.
Lifecycle & Asset Management:
- Deployment: Lead the setup, configuration, and deployment of new workstations and laptops (imaging and software installation).
- Inventory Control: Maintain an up-to-date database of all IT assets (laptops, monitors, tablets, and peripherals).
- Procurement: Candidate will manage device procurement as well. Day-to-day communication with vendors, suppliers for quotation, ordering, payment …etc.
- Onboarding: Conduct IT orientation for new employees, ensuring they are equipped and trained on company systems from Day 1.
Security & Maintenance:
- Ensure all desktop systems are updated with the latest security patches and antivirus definitions.
- Manage user accounts and access permissions via Active Directory / Azure AD.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience:
- 2–3 years of experience in a Desktop Support or Helpdesk role.
- Experience in Hospitality is a significant advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Windows 10/11 and macOS troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
- Basic understanding of networking (patching, cabling, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
- Familiarity with MDM (Mobile Device Management) tools like Intune or Soti.
Soft Skills:
- Customer-Centric: A “service-first” attitude with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users clearly.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple support tickets and prioritize based on business impact (e.g., prioritizing a down cash register over an office printer).
UAE Specific Requirements:
- Language: Fluent in English (Written and Verbal), Arabic or Russian are a plus.
