KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the initial setup and deployment of the site’s IT infrastructure.
• Install and configure desktop computers, laptops, monitors, displays, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Support the installation and configuration of network switches, access points, routers, and related infrastructure.
• Set up and maintain IT equipment within office and control-room environments.
• Perform desktop and hardware troubleshooting for computers, displays, printers, peripherals, and other devices.
• Provide first-line technical support to employees and escalate complex issues when required.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Assist users with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Office applications, and related Microsoft 365 services.
• Support user account setup, device configuration, software installation, and basic access management.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting involving Ethernet connections, switches, patch panels, and network ports.
• Install, terminate, label, test, and maintain Cat6/Cat7 Ethernet cabling and patching.
• Maintain organized network cabling and ensure proper identification of network connections.
• Assist with network connectivity checks and troubleshoot basic LAN-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment assignments, network connections, and configurations.
• Monitor IT equipment and identify potential hardware, connectivity, or infrastructure issues.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for installations, repairs, and technical support.
• Assist with routine IT maintenance, equipment upgrades, replacements, and system improvements.
• Follow appropriate IT security, backup, safety, and operational procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of company systems, data, credentials, and technical information.
• Prepare basic IT reports and provide updates regarding infrastructure and support activities.
• Perform additional IT-related duties assigned by management.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT, desktop support, infrastructure support, or a similar role.
• Good practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 and common office applications.
• Hands-on experience with computer hardware, peripherals, and desktop troubleshooting.
• Practical knowledge of Ethernet cabling, including Cat6/Cat7 termination and patching.
• Basic understanding of LAN infrastructure, network equipment, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to technical issues.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive approach with a willingness to perform hands-on technical tasks.
• Ability to work effectively with users, vendors, and internal technical teams.
