Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support Execution: Implement operational plans and programs related to providing technical support services for end-users of desktop equipment (computers, IP phones, printers, scanners) across the Committee, assisting them in operating these devices seamlessly.

• Operations & Troubleshooting: Monitor operational plans and resolve routine and urgent technical issues regarding office devices, applications, and systems in line with business requirements.

• System Monitoring & Installation: Oversee the monitoring and administration of operating systems, software, hardware, and peripherals, including software installations, to ensure continuous and efficient performance.

• Helpdesk Response: Respond promptly to user inquiries and monitor the Help Desk system to deliver timely, high-quality support services.

• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Coordinate with relevant parties to manage preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance programs for office hardware, ensuring faulty equipment is repaired as quickly as possible per standard procedures.

• Disaster Recovery & Documentation: Participate in emergency recovery plans to reinstall computer operating systems and ensure system integrity, while maintaining documentation for operating systems and any applied updates.

• User Training & Enablement: Assist in providing technical support for OS management and deliver end-user training on hardware usage to build staff capabilities, as directed by the direct supervisor and business needs.

• Technical Evaluation: Participate in studying and evaluating technical proposals submitted by specialized vendors for hardware, software, and applications, providing recommendations accordingly.

• Network Integration & Account Management: Oversee technical tasks related to connecting hardware and software to information networks, track IT updates, manage the effectiveness of user domain accounts and emails, and suggest improvements for the Committee’s workflow.

• Software Adoption: Acquire, install, and deploy modern software solutions that align with technological advancements, streamline workflows, and resolve operational issues.

• ISO 27001 Compliance & Upgrades: Contribute suggestions to modernize and upgrade office hardware, enhance overall performance, and carry out required tasks to support compliance with ISO 27001 Information Security Management standards.

• Security Awareness Campaigns: Help prepare and distribute security awareness notifications, educational bulletins, and best-practice guides regarding the optimal use of available tech services, software, and equipment to staff.

• Meetings & Technical Committees: Attend specialized IT meetings, technical committees, task forces, and conferences, and ensure the execution of issued decisions and recommendations.

• Reporting & Performance Tracking: Prepare and submit periodic/annual reports to the Head of Section, detailing achievements, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), financial status, operational obstacles, feedback results, and development recommendations.

• Additional Duties: Perform any other duties within the scope of work as assigned, supporting the Committee’s strategic goals and directives.
