Junior Accountant Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system accurately.

• Assist in maintaining general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.

• Process accounts payable, including verifying supplier invoices and preparing payments.

• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.

• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustment entries as required.

• Maintain accurate filing of financial documents for audit and compliance purposes.

• Assist in VAT preparation and other statutory reporting if applicable.

• Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial information when needed.

• Support senior accountants in financial analysis and reporting tasks.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company procedures.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance or ACCA Finalist.

• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Skilled at using ERP systems such as Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, etc.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
