Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in accounting operations and financial reporting, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
• Prepare and process invoices, bills, and expense reports in a timely manner.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) by verifying invoices and supporting payment processes.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR), including tracking payments and following up on outstanding balances.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions match bank statements.
• Monitor cash flow and report any discrepancies or issues to senior accountants.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports under supervision.

• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all financial records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Identify discrepancies and assist in implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Inter CA or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1–3 years of UAE accounting experience, preferably in shipping or mining industries.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
