Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

• Assist with day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactions.
• Record and maintain accurate accounting entries in the accounting system.
• Process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and supporting documentation.
• Verify financial documents and ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in maintaining General Ledger accounts and financial records.
• Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Monitor and update financial data in accounting software.

Financial Records & Documentation

• Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
• Ensure proper documentation of accounting transactions.
• Prepare and update accounting schedules and reports.
• Assist in tracking expenses and maintaining supporting documents.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.
• Organize and archive accounting files for future reference and audits.

Payroll & Reconciliation Support

• Support payroll preparation by compiling employee-related financial data.
• Assist in processing payroll records and salary documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• Assist in reconciling supplier, customer, and ledger accounts.
• Coordinate with team members to resolve accounting variances promptly.

Financial Reporting

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support management with accounting summaries and financial data analysis.
• Assist in budget preparation and expense monitoring activities.
• Provide accounting support during internal and external audits.
• Help ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and spreadsheet management.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop accounting skills.
