Junior Accountant Full Time

The Junior Accountant position in Dubai with Kahraman Agro DMCC is ideal for candidates seeking hands-on experience in financial accounting, VAT filing, bookkeeping, and audit support.

In this position, you will assist with daily accounting operations and data entry, ensuring that financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with company policies. You will be responsible for maintaining organized financial records, including invoices, receipts, vouchers, and supporting documents. Proper filing and documentation will be essential to ensure transparency and ease of reference during audits and internal reviews.

A key part of the role involves supporting accounts payable and receivable activities. You will assist in processing supplier invoices, preparing payment schedules, and tracking outstanding balances. On the receivables side, you will help monitor customer payments, follow up on pending invoices, and update records to reflect collections accurately. These responsibilities will help you gain practical exposure to cash flow management and financial controls.

The Junior Accountant will also assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. This includes helping with account reconciliations, preparing journal entries under supervision, and supporting the preparation of basic financial reports. You will work alongside experienced team members to understand closing procedures and reporting timelines, building valuable experience in financial accounting cycles.

To be successful in this role, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A basic knowledge of accounting principles is essential, along with the ability to apply theoretical concepts in a practical setting. Proficiency in MS Excel is required, as spreadsheets will be used regularly for data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting. Familiarity with accounting software is considered an added advantage and will help you adapt quickly to the role.
