Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support in routine accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

• Assist with daily accounting operations, including data entry, updating ledgers, and maintaining basic financial records.

• Perform journal entries under supervision and ensure supporting documents are properly maintained.

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice preparation, verification, and posting.

• Assist in maintaining cash, bank, and expense records with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Perform basic reconciliations, including bank and ledger reconciliations, and report discrepancies to senior staff.

• Help in preparing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers as required.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation, both physical and digital.

• Support senior accountants during month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing schedules and summaries.

• Assist in monitoring expenses and maintaining basic cost tracking records.

• Ensure routine accounting tasks are performed in compliance with company policies and basic accounting standards.

• Provide administrative support related to finance operations, including filing, data management, and report preparation.

• Coordinate with internal departments to collect required financial information and documents.

• Assist in maintaining VAT-related documentation as per UAE requirements under supervision.

• Use Microsoft Excel and accounting software for data entry, reconciliations, and report preparation.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and handle information with professionalism and integrity.

• Identify and report errors, missing documents, or discrepancies to senior accounting staff promptly.

• Support audit activities by organizing and providing required documents when requested.

• Assist in improving accounting efficiency through organized record-keeping and attention to detail.

• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks assigned by the Finance Manager or Senior Accountant.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience is mandatory; home country experience will be considered.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial records.

• Ability to handle routine accounting tasks and provide administrative support.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to company accounting procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data.

• Good organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
