Key Responsibilities

Pharmacy Operations

• Dispense prescription medications accurately according to physician instructions.
• Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical laws, healthcare regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain proper storage and handling of medicines according to regulatory standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure medicines are always adequately stocked.
• Check expiry dates regularly and remove expired or damaged products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment.

Patient Care & Counseling

• Provide professional counseling on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and precautions.
• Answer patient questions regarding prescriptions and over-the-counter medications.
• Educate patients on medication adherence and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Identify potential drug interactions and advise patients appropriately.
• Support customers in selecting suitable healthcare and wellness products.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Inventory & Documentation

• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and prescription documentation.
• Process inventory transactions and stock movements using pharmacy software.
• Coordinate medicine orders with suppliers and monitor stock availability.
• Prepare reports related to inventory, controlled medicines, and daily sales.
• Assist with pharmacy audits and regulatory inspections.
• Ensure proper documentation for controlled substances where applicable.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support pharmacy assistants and other team members in daily operations.
• Participate in staff meetings, product training, and continuous professional development.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical practice.
• Perform additional pharmacy-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Valid DHA, MOH, or DOH Pharmacist License (Mandatory).
• Relevant pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Specifically seeking Tagalog-speaking and Arabic-speaking candidates.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good computer literacy and familiarity with pharmacy management software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
