Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and create purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services in line with company procedures.

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best value while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and contractual standards.

• Issue RFQs/RFPs and conduct quotation analysis to determine cost efficiency, technical suitability, and supplier capability.

• Coordinate delivery schedules, logistics, and shipments, ensuring timely receipt of all items to avoid operational delays.

• Verify that materials and services meet required specifications and quality standards, conducting follow-ups with relevant departments when needed.

• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, supplier profiles, and performance evaluations.

• Support cost-saving initiatives, explore alternative suppliers, and contribute to long-term vendor relationship management.

• Use ERP/procurement systems and MS Office for documentation, reporting, and regular updates on procurement activities.

• Collaborate with finance teams for invoice processing and payment follow-up.

• Monitor market trends, price movements, and product availability to make informed purchasing decisions.

• Ensure procurement activities align with company policies, compliance requirements, and ethical sourcing practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar supply chain/purchasing role.

• Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and vendor management.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

• Ability to evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and service.

• Experience in issuing RFQs/RFPs, analyzing quotations, and managing contracts.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and reporting tools.

• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
