The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service on the shop floor, addressing customer needs effectively, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. The role involves achieving sales targets, maintaining stock accuracy, and upholding the brand’s image and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

• Greet customers warmly and offer assistance to ensure their needs are met promptly.
• Provide exceptional service by engaging in up-selling, cross-selling, and suggesting alternatives to customers.
• Handle customer queries and follow up on requests to ensure satisfaction.

Stock Management

• Receive shipments and ensure accurate stock-keeping practices to prevent losses or theft.
• Conduct periodic physical and electronic inventory checks.
• Report broken alarms, incidents, or suspicious activities promptly.

Store Maintenance

• Arrange and replenish shop shelves regularly to maintain a tidy and organized store environment.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the shop floor, aligning with the brand’s image.

Cash Handling

• Operate cash registers efficiently, ensuring accurate customer transactions.

Specialized Responsibilities

• Fashion Retail: Take accurate measurements for alterations, assign prices, and coordinate alterations promptly.
• Multimedia & Lifestyle Retail: Promote additional products and services to achieve sales goals. Organize displays based on sales trends and manager recommendations. Notify managers about underperforming or unavailable products.
• Sports Goods Retail: Act as an athlete ambassador, providing product expertise and contributing to a dynamic team environment.
