Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Handle project accounting for contracting activities, ensuring accurate cost allocation and tracking.
• Monitor and control project budgets and expenses, ensuring alignment with financial plans.
• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is complete and accurate.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights for cost control and business decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity, ensuring financial stability.
• Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements:

• 8–12 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proven experience working in contracting or construction companies.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes, project accounting, and financial reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
