Site Engineer Full Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate aluminium, glazing, curtain wall, façade, doors, windows, and related installation works at project sites.
• Review approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements before commencing site activities.
• Ensure installation activities are carried out according to approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and other site teams.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, dimensions, alignment, levels, and installation quality.
• Identify technical issues, site constraints, and installation problems and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure activities remain aligned with the project schedule and milestones.
• Coordinate material deliveries, manpower, tools, equipment, and site resources required for installation.
• Verify delivered aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, accessories, and façade materials against project requirements.
• Maintain daily site records, progress reports, inspection requests, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure façade and glazing works meet required quality standards.
• Assist with preparation and submission of Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and Inspection Requests (IRs), where required.
• Monitor installation teams and ensure proper workmanship and productivity.
• Coordinate with other trades to avoid site clashes and delays.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, protection, and installation of aluminium and glass materials.
• Monitor health and safety requirements and ensure workers follow approved site safety procedures.
• Assist in resolving consultant comments, snagging items, and site observations.
• Participate in site meetings and provide updates regarding work progress, technical issues, and requirements.
• Support testing, inspection, handover, and completion activities.
• Perform other engineering and site-related duties assigned by project management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience as a Site Engineer.
• Previous experience in the Aluminium, Glazing, or Façade Industry is mandatory.
• Good understanding of aluminium façade, glazing, curtain wall, doors, windows, and related installation processes.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, architectural drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong site supervision, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of construction site procedures and quality requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple site activities.
• Good knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering or project documentation tools is an advantage.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
