Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily store operations, ensuring smooth receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and supplies.

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and quality standards.

• Maintain complete and accurate store documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, requisitions, and inventory records.

• Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize wastage.

• Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate record-keeping.

• Ensure proper storage of items according to food safety, hygiene standards, and industrial best practices.

• Supervise issuance of materials based on approved requisitions and maintain full documentation of stock movements.

• Coordinate with procurement, kitchen, and catering teams to ensure timely availability of required items.

• Track expiry dates of perishable items and implement first-in, first-out (FIFO) stock management practices.

• Prepare and submit inventory reports, stock summaries, and consumption analysis for management review.

• Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organization, and safety at all times.

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of store assistants or helpers, providing guidance and training as needed.

• Assist in procurement planning by providing accurate consumption trends and inventory data.

• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits by providing accurate records and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE food safety regulations, and hospitality industry standards.

• Handle damaged, expired, or obsolete goods appropriately and coordinate with management for replacement or disposal.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance store efficiency and accuracy.

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams regarding stock availability and inventory requirements.

• Support smooth day-to-day operations by proactively resolving issues and streamlining store processes.

• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by management to ensure seamless store operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in storekeeping or inventory management is an added advantage.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a store in-charge in the hotel or catering industry.

• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and industrial best practices.

• Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software is preferred.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills, capable of supervising store staff effectively.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
