Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Material Management

• Receive and inspect incoming materials and verify delivery documents against purchase orders.
• Check the quality and quantity of received materials before accepting deliveries.
• Maintain accurate stock records, inventory logs, and ERP system entries.
• Organize and store materials safely and systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
• Ensure proper labeling and categorization of all inventory items.
• Monitor stock levels regularly and report shortages for timely replenishment.

Material Issuance & Control

• Issue materials to site teams based on approved material requests.
• Maintain accurate records of material issuance and returns.
• Track the movement of inventory to prevent shortages and overstocking.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams regarding material availability.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites as required.

Inventory Audits & Reconciliation

• Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory audits.
• Reconcile physical inventory with ERP records and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare inventory reports and stock movement summaries.
• Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and damaged inventory.
• Recommend improvements to inventory management processes.

Tools, Equipment & Store Maintenance

• Track the issuance and return of tools and equipment.
• Ensure all tools are properly maintained and accounted for.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the store.
• Follow Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines at all times.
• Ensure proper storage conditions to protect materials from damage.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Store Management or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in construction, MEP, or project-based environments.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and material handling procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock management.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physically fit and capable of handling warehouse activities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet operational deadlines.
