Supply Chain Executive Full Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Procurement Management

• Manage local and international procurement activities according to company requirements and operational schedules.
• Source reliable suppliers and evaluate products, pricing, quality, availability, and delivery timelines.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
• Follow up on purchase orders and ensure accurate processing from order placement through delivery.

Purchase Order & Delivery Coordination

• Monitor the complete purchase order process and ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order quantities, specifications, pricing, and expected delivery dates.
• Track outstanding purchase orders and follow up regularly to prevent delays.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to the required warehouse or destination.
• Identify potential supply delays and coordinate suitable solutions with suppliers and internal teams.

Import, Export & Logistics

• Coordinate import, export, and cross-trade shipments from order confirmation through final delivery.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, suppliers, warehouses, and transport providers.
• Prepare, check, and maintain shipping and logistics documentation.
• Coordinate customs clearance and provide required documents to customs agents and freight forwarders.
• Track shipment status and provide timely updates to relevant departments.
• Resolve shipment delays, documentation issues, and delivery discrepancies efficiently.

Documentation & Record Management

• Maintain accurate procurement, purchase order, supplier, shipment, and delivery records.
• Ensure all invoices, quotations, purchase orders, shipping documents, and related records are properly filed.
• Update procurement and shipment tracking reports regularly.
• Monitor delivery schedules and maintain clear documentation for audit and operational purposes.

Internal Coordination & Cost Control

• Coordinate closely with suppliers, warehouses, finance, sales, operations, and other internal departments.
• Ensure purchasing activities meet operational requirements and approved budgets.
• Monitor logistics and procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Support management with procurement updates, shipment reports, supplier information, and operational data.
• Ensure supply chain activities are completed efficiently while maintaining service quality.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Logistics, Procurement & Operations.
• UAE experience preferred; JAFZA or Free Zone experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of procurement and logistics documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
