Assistant Accountant Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by recording daily transactions such as expenses, receipts, and journal entries.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring all data is complete and accurate.
• Help manage accounts payable (AP) by processing invoices, verifying supporting documents, and assisting with timely payments.
• Assist in handling accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Perform basic bank reconciliations, ensuring that recorded transactions match bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including data entry and reconciliation tasks.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems, both digital and physical, for easy access and audit readiness.
• Assist in preparing budget reports and financial forecasts, providing support in data collection and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards in all financial activities.
• Collaborate with senior accountants and finance teams to support daily accounting operations.
• Assist in data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement.
• Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Experience:

• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar role or internship.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds in accounting or finance are encouraged to apply.

Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting tools.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Basic knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes.
