Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily inventory operations and stock control activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock or overstock situations to management.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods and materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Record inventory transactions accurately in inventory management systems.
• Maintain updated inventory records and stock databases.
• Assist with stock counting, cycle counts, and periodic inventory audits.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory items.
• Coordinate stock transfers between departments, warehouses, or locations.
• Track inventory movement and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist in resolving stock variances.
• Prepare inventory reports and stock summaries for management review.
• Support procurement and purchasing teams by providing inventory-related information.
• Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Monitor product expiry dates where applicable and ensure proper stock rotation practices.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse personnel, and internal departments regarding inventory matters.
• Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within inventory storage areas.
• Support logistics and warehouse operations when required.
• Handle inventory documentation, filing, and administrative tasks efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
• Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, stock management, or a similar role is preferred.
• Basic understanding of inventory management principles and stock control procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
