Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Record financial transactions accurately and maintain organized accounting records.
• Prepare and post accounting entries in accordance with accounting standards.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial schedules, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper transaction recording.
• Assist in preparing management reports and financial summaries.
• Review financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and review KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation for compliance purposes.
• Verify client records and maintain updated compliance documentation.
• Ensure proper filing and organization of financial and client documents.
• Support audit assignments and assist in preparing documents required for audits.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal departments regarding accounting matters.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize accounting software and spreadsheets for reporting and analysis.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and client information at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• CA Inter or CMA qualification is preferred.
• Experience working in an audit firm is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting procedures.
• Experience in preparing accounting entries and account reconciliations.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting documentation.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing KYC documentation.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and financial spreadsheets.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
