Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Record financial transactions accurately and maintain up-to-date accounting records.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Monitor and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records and bank statements.
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper allocation of costs.
• Prepare financial summaries and management reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with banks, suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and records.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
• Ensure all accounting records are accurate, complete, and properly maintained.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in Oman.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Experience managing daily accounting transactions and financial records.
• Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations and cash management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
