Job Responsibilities

• Assist the superior in procuring Materials, Equipment’s, Equipment hire, Labour Hire, Subcontracts and Services to the job site according to the company’s purchasing policies and procedures
• Obtain and review quotes from Suppliers, and make recommendations to the Senior Officer Purchase.
• Place orders with Suppliers and ensure timely delivery of Materials, Equipment’s, Equipment hire, Labour Hire, Subcontracts and Services to the job site
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases and inventory
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of products
• Work closely with Divisional Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers and other team members so as to understand the material / service requirements in order procure the same as per the site requirements
• Identify potential cost savings opportunities and report them to the superiors
• Ensure compliance with all specification and quantities required for the project including regulatory and legal requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors in order to improve purchase experience
• Continuously evaluate and improve the procurement process to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Officer Purchase / Management

Qualifications

• Graduation preferably in Commerce / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Supply chain certification would be a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience in Project materials purchase in an Electrical Contracting Company – Dealing in High Voltage, Low Voltage, Solar, Energy Savings etc.
• Proficient in ERP – MM Module, SAP would be plus.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & MS Office
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and supply chain management
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
