Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the company’s accounting and finance functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, monitor, and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity requirements.
• Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and treasury functions.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial procedures.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
• Prepare management reports, KPI dashboards, and financial performance analyses.
• Identify financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Support business planning, investment evaluations, and profitability assessments.
• Monitor operational costs and recommend cost-control initiatives.
• Lead and mentor finance team members to ensure high performance and professional development.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and financial control functions.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced financial software.
• Excellent knowledge of financial analysis, risk management, and internal controls.
• Strong understanding of taxation, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
