Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Process invoices, supplier payments, customer receipts, and other financial transactions.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions efficiently.
• Prepare and post journal entries in the accounting system.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts regularly.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records and account balances.
• Maintain General Ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper cost allocation.
• Verify financial documents and supporting records for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain organized financial files and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions and reporting requirements.
• Assist with audit preparations and provide required documentation to auditors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and reporting functions.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and other accounting software.
• Experience handling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
