Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Record financial transactions, journal entries, and General Ledger postings.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions efficiently.
• Process supplier invoices, customer payments, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile customer, supplier, and intercompany accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate treasury records.
• Ensure all accounting transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards.
• Prepare and maintain VAT records, supporting schedules, and tax-related documentation.
• Assist in VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Track real estate-related transactions, commissions, rental income, and property expenses.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for audit and compliance purposes.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial reports and supporting documents.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
• Work closely with management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Prior experience in the Dubai Real Estate industry is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and ledger management.
• Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day accounting operations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
