The Role

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across all accounting functions.
• Manage General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Treasury operations in SAP.
• Perform daily accounting activities, including journal entries and ledger postings.
• Ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
• Prepare and analyze Management Information System (MIS) reports for decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow and support treasury management activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and Corporate Tax (CT) requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audit processes.
• Maintain proper documentation and financial records for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights for cost control and performance improvement.
• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting in line with IFRS standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial and operational support.
• Identify process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and controls.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (preferred) or other major ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• UAE market experience is an added advantage.
