Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Maintain and update General Ledger (GL) accounts.
• Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Process supplier payments and customer receipts accurately.
• Verify financial documents before posting transactions.
• Assist with expense recording and reimbursement processing.

Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile supplier, customer, and ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management summaries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting schedules and supporting documents.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies promptly.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
• Ensure accounting documents are complete and easily accessible.
• Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
• Follow company accounting procedures and financial controls.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.
• Support compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Administrative Support

• Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and financial matters.
• Assist in budgeting and financial analysis activities.
• Prepare reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement within the finance department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of UAE accounting experience, OR UAE freshers with relevant home country accounting experience and a valid own visa.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is an added advantage.
• Professional attitude with integrity and a willingness to learn.
