Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Store materials systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory to management.
• Update inventory transactions in the ERP or inventory management system.
• Label and categorize materials properly for efficient stock control.
• Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage or loss.

Material Issuance & Stock Control

• Issue materials, tools, and equipment based on approved requisitions.
• Maintain records of all stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returns.
• Track the movement of materials between departments or project sites.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for stock replenishment.
• Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged inventory and report findings.
• Ensure timely availability of materials for operational requirements.

Inventory Audits & Documentation

• Conduct regular stock counts and periodic inventory audits.
• Reconcile physical inventory with system records and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare inventory reports, stock movement summaries, and material usage reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all inventory transactions.
• Support internal and external inventory audits.
• Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and procedures.

Store Maintenance & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of materials and equipment.
• Follow company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
• Report damaged goods, safety hazards, or maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
• Perform additional store and warehouse duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Store Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Store Keeper, Warehouse Assistant, or similar role is an advantage.
• Good understanding of inventory management and stock control procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management or ERP software.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and capable of handling warehouse activities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• High level of responsibility, integrity, and reliability.
